On 16 March Cornwall Council launched Cornwall’s Climate Action Fund in line with Crowdfunder’s latest initiative #BackTheFuture.

Watch the live event on YouTube.

This first of its kind fund, is fueled by public donations to support crowdfunding projects tackling climate change in Cornwall.

Cornwall is home to some of the most beautiful, natural places in the country. This fund is designed to support the county in its ambition to lead the way in the fight against climate change.

Councillor Edwina Hannaford has made the first donation. If you, like Councillor Hannaford, love Cornwall and want to help to instigate world leading change, then please donate to the Climate Action Fund!

This fund, led by your donations, will provide funding for projects or ideas that are helping tackle the climate emergency either through reducing carbon production; removing carbon from the atmosphere; environmental conservation activity; or increasing community resilience.

Everything collected will be spent in Cornwall, see how it works here.
